As Parisians take to urban gleaning to supplement their grocery budgets, eating habits in the US have also been changing dramatically as this bout of economic hard times seems to take its toll on culinary normality. According to the Wall Street Journal, American consumers have cut back on food spending by the largest margin since the government's been keeping track of it: 3.7%. So, what are we cutting back on?
